1. Entry & Admission

• Management reserves the right to refuse entry, re-entry, or service to any person at its absolute discretion.

• Valid photo ID may be required to gain entry.

• Admission may be refused to anyone deemed to be intoxicated, under the influence of drugs, behaving anti-socially, or breaching event rules.

• Your ticket guarantees entry before 3:30pm on the day of the event. Late arrivals may be refused entry unless the organiser has been notified in advance.

• All attendees must comply with instructions from event staff, stewards, and security at all times.

2. Tickets

• Tickets are sold only through our approved ticketing partners.

• All tickets are strictly non-refundable and non-exchangeable, except if the entire event is cancelled by the organiser.

• Tickets may only be transferred if the organiser is notified at least 24 hours before the event and the new ticket-holder’s details are provided.

• Booking fees and processing charges are non-refundable under all circumstances.

• Paper tickets are only issued if specifically selected at checkout; otherwise, e-tickets or digital tickets will be accepted.

3. Line-Up & Programme

• All artists, entertainment, vendors, and schedules are subject to change without notice.

• Refunds will not be issued due to changes in line-up, performance times, or running order.

• If an advertised artist is unable to perform, the organiser will make reasonable efforts to provide a replacement act of a similar style.

 

4. Event Cancellation, Postponement & Force Majeure

• In the event of force majeure (including but not limited to extreme weather, government restrictions, safety risks, acts of God, or circumstances beyond the organiser’s control), Rum & Reggae UK reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify the event without liability.

• If the entire event is cancelled, ticket-holders will be entitled to a refund of the face value (booking fees excluded).

• If the event is postponed or rescheduled, all tickets will automatically transfer to the new date.

• If you cannot attend the rescheduled date, a refund may be requested within 14 days of the new date being announced.

 

5. Conduct & Safety

• Attendees must behave responsibly and respect other guests, performers, staff, and the local community.

• No alcohol, glass, or illegal substances may be brought onto the event site.

• Security checks and bag searches will be conducted on entry.

• The organiser accepts no liability for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.

• Entry is entirely at your own risk. By attending, you agree that the organiser, venue, and partners are not liable for injury, loss, or damage unless caused by proven negligence.

 

6. Accessibility

We aim to make our events as accessible as possible.
For accessibility enquiries, wheelchair access information, or essential Carer/PA ticket requests, please contact us prior to the event.

7. Photography, Filming & Media

• By attending, you consent to being photographed or filmed for use in event marketing, promotions, social media, press, and future advertising.

• If you prefer not to appear in promotional material, please inform a member of staff on the day.

8. Data Protection

• Personal data collected during ticket purchase is processed in accordance with UK GDPR.

• Data is used only for event administration, safety purposes, and relevant marketing updates.

• Your data will never be sold to third parties.

9. Age Policy

• Rum & Reggae festivals are family-friendly events; however, under-18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

• Proof of age may be required for alcohol service or access to certain areas.

• The organiser reserves the right to remove any attendee breaching the age or alcohol policy without refund.

• Some indoor/venue-based Rum & Reggae events may not permit under-18s.

10. Additional Notes

• Drinking water stations will be available on-site at our outdoor festivals.

• The organiser reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.

• Attendance at any Rum & Reggae UK event signifies acceptance of the most current version of these Terms.
