Rum & Reggae Shrewsbury Shrewsbury Quarry Park

July 25th 2026

“Good music. Good rum. Good access.”

Rum & Reggae Shrewsbury – Accessibility

We want everyone to enjoy Rum & Reggae, so we offer a complimentary Carer/Personal Assistant (PA) ticket for anyone who needs support to attend.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Buy your ticket as normal (please don’t include the carer ticket yet).

  2. Email info@rumandreggashrewsbury.co.uk with your order number and one form of proof of eligibility — such as:

    • DLA or PIP (care or mobility)

    • Access Card / DID / CredAbility / Nimbus Card

    • Medical summary from a GP or clinician

    • Registration as severely sight impaired

Once we’ve verified your evidence, we’ll add one complimentary Carer/PA ticket to your booking.

A few notes:

  • Usually, one carer ticket is issued per person, unless your documentation shows more are required.

  • There must be at least one paid ticket in the booking for a carer ticket to be added.

  • Carer tickets don’t include extras like parking or upgrades.

  • Parents/guardians of under-16s don’t qualify for a carer ticket unless additional support is needed beyond normal parental care.

  • The Carer/PA must be 18 or over, able and willing to carry out all duties of support, including in emergencies.
A discounted carer ticket is provided on the expectation that your carer is willing and able to assist you throughout your visit and will be available to help you in the event of an evacuation.

  • Proof of eligibility will be required at the festival entrance to prove the recipient of the tickets and the names match the ID and evidence of disability or the full price will be charged or access denied.

Terrain & Accessibility Notes

Rum & Reggae Chester is an outdoor event held on grass. While we make every effort to ensure the site is accessible, please be aware of the following:

  • Ground conditions may vary depending on weather.

  • Grass and uneven areas may be challenging for some wheelchair or mobility aid users.

  • We aim to keep key routes clear and, where possible, provide step-free access around the site.

  • During or after heavy rain, certain areas may become soft or harder to navigate.

  • Our team will always do what we can to support access needs on the day.

If you have any concerns about mobility, need assistance, or would like advice before attending, please feel free to contact us and we’ll be happy to help.
